VitaLink Clay Balls are 8-20mm granules, ideal for hydroponic gardening. Their lower density makes them lighter, which improves water retention and aeration. The irregular surface of the balls prevents damage to the fine roots and protects the plants.
They ensure good aeration (the substrate does not settle), are extremely pH and EC stable and prevent over-acidification of the root zone. VitaLink clay balls work perfectly in any drip system where air exchange in the root zone is important. The solid internal structure of the balls prevents breakage and compaction of the growing medium, which could affect the permeability of the drip system. In addition, these balls are pre-washed to improve the stability of the medium. They allow water to pass through well and do not retain it unnecessarily, resulting in better air distribution around the roots.
