Advanced Hydroponics Silica contains a highly concentrated hydrolyzed silica solution, which is an essential building substance for plants and is easily absorbed. It strengthens the cell walls and skin of plants, giving them a natural defense against mold and infections. Studies have shown that plants grow much more favorably in soil rich in silicon.

Silicon also stimulates the absorption of other nutrients such as phosphorus, which gives the plants more energy.
