The Eclipsera EC TDS meter has two measurement modes that you can easily switch between:
- TDS – measures dissolved substances in water in ppm (parts per million) and the temperature in °C
- Electrical conductivity in μs/cm
Additional features:
- Automatic shutdown after 5 minutes of inactivity to save battery.
- Measuring range: 0-9990 ppm (parts per million)
The device is not waterproof, so only the measuring head should be immersed in the liquid.
Switching between TDS measurement and electrical conductivity:
To measure the conductivity of a liquid, immerse the device in the liquid and press the SHIFT button. The device will now measure the electrical conductivity of the liquid. Pressing the SHIFT button again switches the measuring mode back to TDS measurement.
