TrolMaster's Hydro-X system can control most garden lights currently available on the market. Most light manufacturers offer the ability to control their lighting systems with what are known as low voltage controls. TrolMaster manufactures several types of lighting adapters (LMA units) that allow Hydro-X lights to be controlled with their low voltage controls.
A lighting schedule is a lighting mode that supports plant growth in the vegetative phase. The lighting schedule consists of the light being on for 12 hours, then off for 5.5 hours, then on again for 1 hour, and finally off for another 5.5 hours. This 24-hour schedule is then repeated for the plant's vegetative phase. Turning the light on for an hour between the off hours suppresses the formation of florigen, which causes the plant to remain in a state of high growth.
The LMA-24 lighting adapter is specifically designed to utilize both channels of the Hydro-X system to create a schedule for controlling lights using the 0-10V protocol. It is compatible with HID lights such as Gavita/Nanolux/Luxx/Growers Choice/Illuminar/PL as well as LED lights such as Fluence/Next light/Spectrum King.
